The short version
- This site exists to tell you about pouchie and let you join the beta.
- It sets no tracking or advertising cookies — so there's no consent banner to click.
- The only personal data it handles is the name and email you choose to give us for the beta waitlist.
- Your photos and everything inside the pouchie app are not on this site; they're covered by the pouchie app's own separate privacy policy.
What we collect
Beta waitlist
When you submit the beta form, we receive and store your name, your email address, and the language you were browsing in. Our server also records the moment you signed up, your IP address, and your browser's user-agent string, as a basic anti-abuse and troubleshooting measure. This is stored on Cloudflare (our EU-region hosting), indexed by your email, and used for a single purpose: to email you about the pouchie beta. We don't sell it, share it for marketing, or use it to build an advertising profile. We keep it for up to 24 months, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first.
Analytics
We measure how many people visit using Plausible, a privacy-first, EU-hosted analytics tool. It is cookieless, collects no personal data, and cannot follow you across other websites. We see aggregate numbers only — page views, referrers, countries — never individuals.
Cookies
pouchie's website sets no advertising, marketing, or tracking cookies — and no analytics cookies either, because Plausible doesn't need them. That's why you won't see a cookie-consent banner: there is nothing to consent to. The only cookie that might ever be set is a strictly-necessary security cookie from our infrastructure provider (Cloudflare) to protect the site from abuse; it is never used to identify or profile you.
No ads, no AI training, no data selling
The promises we make across the rest of this site apply here too:
- We never use your data to serve ads or build advertising profiles.
- We never use it to train AI models — ours or anyone else's.
- We never sell it to third parties.
Your rights
Wherever you live — and specifically under Brazil's LGPD and the EU's GDPR — you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- correct it if it's wrong or out of date;
- delete it (the "right to be forgotten");
- receive a copy in a portable format;
- withdraw consent and unsubscribe at any time.
To exercise any of these, email support@pouchie.app. We respond within the timeframe the law requires — up to 15 days for confirmation of processing under the LGPD, and up to 30 days under the GDPR.
